Corbyn and I watched the clouds roll by as we lay on our beach towels by the pool.
This is going to be a great summer. It's only noon and already we've had a days worth of fun!
Enjoy my perspective.
There was a time when my main concerns were getting my makeup on and making that money. Now my focus has shifted to picking up after a toddler and making meals.

Happy Memorial Day 2013.
This memorial day, we had so much fun in our perfect backyard. A day at the pool with your family is the payoff for working hard every day. Or in my case hardly working. ;) Yeah right, I'm a "stay at home mom/housewife. I work nonstop!
2013 has truly been a year to remember. I know, were only in may, but hey!
This month has been filled with stresses, heavy emotions, new experiences and growth.
In any case, all your woes will melt away on a Monday in Florida, 82 degrees and not a drop of rain in sight.
Corbyn had the time of her life as her daddy launched her in the air, over and over!
She's almost as much Daddy's girl as she is Mommy's. Almost!
Alas, in the pool, Daddy is the fun one! She's a thrill seeker, and he has the muscle to make it happen!
For the dads or moms who don't get to come home to their babies every night like mine does.
Simming backwards..
Looking at airplanes..
She's always impressed!
Have a beautiful week! I know we will! XOXO
Now, feel free to shop! ;)

Harnessing my sanity...
With a 2 year old Diva and a 16 year old who's too cool for school, I often find myself frustrated.
I've been a stay at home mom for about a year, now. Which many of you think is the easiest job there is. Guess again! It's a constant frenzy of toddler requests. She demands my attention and most definitely my servitude from the moment I wake up til nighttime when she takes more than her share of my bed. Not to mention I still like to have dinner on the table for my husband when he arrives, too!
(I'm not just a stay at home mom at the moment, but also a house wife. )
Moms LITERALLY don't ever stop! Feedings, changes, attention, cuddles, calamity, spills, breaks, boo boos, accidents, clean-up, repeat! And if by chance I am too slow in answering her requests I get to hear very enjoyable, oh so melodic WHINING!
Don't get me wrong.. I am beyond blessed as my baby girl is very polite! She always says please and thank you, bless you and sorry. She cares a great deal about others happiness and her empathy is always at the forefront. (unless, of course she's bossing me around. Those times she has little concern for how I feel.)
She loves having friends and chummin it up with those around her.
As I was writing this Corbyn FINALLY went to sleep.
:) I've typed myself into feeling much better.
Thanks for reading!
